Virtual Health After-Hours Appointments

Practice Plus provide same day virtual after-hours GP appointments for enrolled patients, as an extension of our regular medical health team.

Practice plus is available weekdays from 5pm to 10 pm and weekends/public holidays 8am to 8 pm.

Welcome to our practice

Our aim is to assist people in the Barrington area to improve their health by the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illness, with a focus on health equity, to maintain health, independence, and wellbeing.

We are a Cornerstone accredited practice (the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners) and are members of the Pegasus Health PHO.

The Medical Centre is situated in the Barrington Community Health Centre, providing a wide range of health services on one site including, Optometry, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Acupuncture and Dentistry. The Medical Centre is easily accessible, with off-street parking, wheelchair access and a bus stop at our front door.
